Cavalli Pizzeria and Wine Bar

Wood fired, brick oven cooked pizza tonight. Ran up the road to McKinney to Cavalli Pizzeria and Wine Bar. Ordered the Caprese Salad, Bruschetta Genovese, and Calamari for appetizers. Then, went for the Margherita Extra and the Dallas Pizzas. Finally, closed out dinner with Tiramasu. Left with full stomachs but did not feel stuffed! Tasty meal, good company, and did not over eat... Nice!

Ran up to McKinney this weekend for some wood fired oven pizza!  Went with a glass of wine and our favorite pizzas... the Dallas and the Supreme Margharita (sp?).  Tasty, tasty, tasty....

Had dinner the other night at Cavalli Pizzeria and Wine Bar in McKinney.  Ordered Bread and Mozzarella and Tomatoes (Caprese Salad) for appetizers, then went with the Dallas and Margherita Extra pizzas.  Tasty dinner!

Had dinner the other night at Cavalli's in McKinney... ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella Margherita and the Dallas Pizza.  Had them in the past and really liked them!  Only issue forgot to take a picture.  Did get pictures of the Caprese Salad, Calamari, Fried Doughnuts, and Cannelloni!  Yum, yum, yum!

Pizza for dinner last night but did not go with takeout!  Traditional brick oven fired pizzas... yum, yum, yum!  Sorry about the lighting; my companions did not want me to use the flash on my camera!

Tried a new place that we found online.  Rated best pizza in Dallas... Cavalli Pizzeria and Wine Bar in McKinney offers wood fired, brick oven pizza straight from the "Old Country"!  Ordered Ensalada Caprese for an appetizer and a glass of red wine.  Then, went with the Il Cantindo and the Dallas Pizzas.  Capped it off with another glass of red wine and a limoncella, along with dessert - a cannelloni and the "La Bomba".  Bottom-line: Agree with the rating as the best pizza in Dallas.  Pizza is just like the ones we had while stationed overseas in Italy!  Moreover, the cannelloni and the "La Bomba" were outstanding.

Don't pass this place up; give it a try when you get a chance.  Next time we stop by, going to order the Margherita Pizza and the Calamari!  From others that ordered, these two offerings looked tempting.
