Jimmy's Egg for Breakfast!

Jimmy's Egg for breakfast last weekend while out and about in Norman, Oklahoma. Chicken Fried Steak is always a good one to order! Eggs Benedict is another one to have while breakfasting... Especially like their hollandaise sauce!

Steak for Dinner, then Brunch!

Had a "meat lover's" appetite last weekend. Picked up a Tomahawk Ribeye Steak at Wheeler's Meat Market in Oklahoma City for dinner. Was tasty, very tasty! Next morning, had Brunch at the Neighborhood Jam. Opted for the Steak and Eggs. Tasty, too but not as tasty as the Tomahawk!

Breakfast at Jimmy's Egg in Norman, OK... Coffee and French Toast for me. Coffee, something with lots of eggs and meat, and Biscuits and Gravy for my dining partner. Ouch... our tummies were bursting!

Torchy's Tacos

Dinner at Torchy's Tacos in Norman, OK last Friday while on the road for a fishing trip to the Lower Illinois River. Tasty meal of Fajita and Jalapeño Sausage Tacos for your's truly, and a Shrimp and Brisket Taco for our Fishing Partner. Queso with the Habanero Sauce and Chips and Margarita to round things out made for a satisfying dinner.

Sakana Sushi Bar and Grill #japanesefood

While in Norman, OK doing the moving day thing, had dinner at Sakana Sushi Bar and Grill. Ordered a number of dishes, forgot what they were but took pictures! Will be back to try other dishes; especially liked the tempura and the generous portions!

Stopped for a burger last night and watch the tail end of the Gonzaga vs South Carolina basketball game. Burgers were tasty; went with the Egg N' Ator - a burger with a fried egg!

Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine

Last Friday dined at Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine in Norman, Oklahoma, Ordered Pad Thai and a Thai Peanut entree. Also, had Chicken Satay for an appetizer. Food was good; just needed a little more spiciness here or there. However, since one of us dining has a low "heat" tolerance, went with the mild spiciness instead of the normal "sear your mouth" spiciness that we prefer!

No worries though, add the Thai Chiles in Fish Sauce condiment to dishes, and all was good again! PS: Cool looking "rice mouse" bowl!

Garage Burger for Dinner while in Norman, OK

Had dinner last Friday in Norman, Oklahoma. Tried a burger place that offered other things like big screen TVs, beer and other drinks, and of course burgers! Tried the Oklahoma style burgers. Would rate it better than MohYah Burger but not as good as Village Burger. Still... would come back if in town again!
