Parry's Pizzeria and Taphouse

Been here several times and it has not disappointed us. Parry's Pizzeria and Taphouse in the Colony offers pizzas, calzones, other foods, and lots of beer. This round ordered the Pepperoni, Margherita, and Cheese Bread for lunch this past Black Friday.  All was tasty and right in this world!

Seven Doors Restaurant at The Colony

Lucked into a new restaurant while shopping at The Colony. Offering Grand Opening specials of burgers, appetizers, and $2 Margaritas! Food was tasty, and the margaritas were strong. Will make a point to come back for more.

Do suggest the Fried Broccoli, Truffle Dries, and Calamari as well as the Burgers!

The Latin Pig #thecolony

Tried a new place in The Colony. It's a Cuban restaurant that offers tasty foods and drinks. Went with sampler of various meats, rice, and beans plus plantains and another vegetable or potato like food that I don't recall the name. Also, tried a fruity Dr Pepper like soda - Iron Beer, also known as Cuba's national drink!

Lava Cantina for Lunch

While shopping at Nebraska Furniture in the The Colony, decided to stop at Lava Cantina for lunch afterwards. Since it's just down the street from Nebraska Furniture, was not an issue getting there,

Ordered the Fried Catfish, Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos, and the Seafood Tacos. All were tasty including the two maybe it was three Margaritas that we had with our order!

Decided to have a bite at Lava Cantina after shopping at Nebraska Furniture. Had Creole Nachos and Margaritas. Ordered several entrees but forgot to take pictures. Guess we will have to go back to get more pictures!

Rock and Brews

Tried another restaurant in The Colony this past weekend. This one is across the street from Hard Eight BBQ. It's called Rock and Brews offering lots of beer, lots of wine/spirits, and food, too! Music can be loud and does get crowded. Stopped by on a Sunday, so was able to order Brunch. One of us went for a cheese covered pulled pork and potatoes entree; the other one went with Sirloin Tip Fajita Tacos. Both were tasty, both were filling... as well as the Shiner Bock on tap!

Hard Eight Pit BBQ

Stopped at Hard Eight Pit BBQ last week for the first time. Located in the The Colony just off the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Was pleasantly surprised with the offerings they had. Tasty BBQ and really filling, do expect to pay more than Dickies BBQ. Did see a sign indicating Rib Eye Steaks could be cooked to order! May need to give it a go next time!
