Was surprised how large the restaurant was, given the small entry ("hole in the wall" appeal!). Even more surprised with the great tasting food. Others in our party opted for Blacked Redfish, a Seafood Sampler with lots of Shrimp, Crawdads, and Fish!

Oceans Seafood Restaurant, NOLA
Oceans Seafood Restaurant on Bourbon Street in the fun town of New Orleans for a last meal before getting back on to the road. Had a great time and was glad to have closed out the activities with a Taste of New Orleans meal at the restaurant.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, NOLA
What better way to have lunch while strolling along the French Quarter, then at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company! Ordered the Fish and Chips with Red Beans and Rice on the side! Not sure what is happening but I need to loosen my belt loop a little!

Deja Vu, Dauphine Street, NOLA
Deja Vu on Dauphine Street, NOLA is a 24/7 Diner that was perfect for that late night bite after a long day of parades and partying! Ordered the Seafood Gumbo; partner ordered Red Beans and Rice with Andouille Sausage. Both were really tasty and hit the spot before calling it a night!

Felix's Oyster House, French Quarter, NOLA
Tried something different... Felix's Oyster House, French Quarter, NOLA for oysters, Gumbo, and a Po Boy! Tasty Gumbo and Po Boy... but may need to tone down the oysters for this diner. Tried them cooked for different ways and decided none really were appealing. Did not try some Gator Tail fried; taste like chicken!

Natchez Steamboat River Cruise for Lunch!
Had lunch on the Natchez Steamboat River Cruise! Got to taste a variety of foods, see the sights along the river, and even see a fully working steamboat engine! Great time to be had with tasty food and unlimited Bloody Mary's Mimosas, and Hurricanes! For the food, everything was good but the big standout was the Bread Pudding Cake! Did not get a picture but it's damn good!

Embers Steakhouse, Bourbon Street, NOLA
Having fun in the Big Easy, first night was a blast. Had a craving for Shrimp Etouffe. Gave the Embers Steakhouse a try and was pleased!
