Kainan Sa Laguna for Tasty Lechon Kawali

Out and about yesterday for lunch. Stopped at Kainan Sa Laguna for some traditional Filipino food. This round tried various dishes... not all pictured. All were tasty... especially liking the Lechon Kawali. Crispy outside, tender inside, and an awesome entre to pair with other traditional dishes! Will be back for more!

Last minute decision to get a bite and a beer at Legacy Hall in Plano. Opted for tacos and a margarita from the Velvet Taco, an Ahi Tower from Horu Sushi, and craft beers from Unlawful Brewing Company!

Happy Hour at Chuy's #plano

Enjoyed Texas Tinis at Chuy's for Happy Hour Friday! Went with the queso and chips and salsa offered for free, and then order Tacos to make it a meal. Tasty and filling

Tino's Too for Steak Picado and Fajitas!

SSteak Picado and Fajitas are still tasty, tasty, tasty! Number one dish at this place is the Steak Picado... always back for more of this sauted, spicy dish!

Lazy Dog in Plano!

Stopped by for appetizers and drinks with Charlie the Maltese Puppy at the Lazy Dog in Plano! Went with pizza and an awesome helping of Nachos along with Margaritas and a Pink Marinti! And don't forget a chicken, rice, and vegetable bowl for Charlie!

Legacy Hall for Valentines Day and then Some!

Fun time wine tasting at Legacy Hall's Blush Wine Bar! Went with the Sweet Pairing event that called for tasty pastries coupled with tasty wines! Fun time... came back later over the weekend and tried more stuff... pizzas, ahi tuna tower, bratwurst and beers!

Katy Trail Outpost for Margaritas and BBQ

Stopped by Katy Trail Outpost in Plano while finishing up errands for an upcoming event. Had a tasty Margarita, loaded Queso and Chips, and Barbecue Plate of Brisket and Jalapeno Sausage. Left full and ready for a nap... including Charlie the Maltese Puppy!

Hub Streat #dining

While out and about yesterday, decided to stop at Hub Streat in Plano for a beer and appetizers. One gets hungry when running errands especially with Charlie the Maltese Puppy.

Cool place, with a dog friendly patio area. Looks like live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Like the open air concept with lots of shade and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Ordered Sliders and Queso and Chips along with The Temptress Stout. Perfect for satisfying the food and drink appetite while out and about!

Will need to stop by in the evening for some live music, food, and drinks!

Tried a new place for sushi... Densetsu in Plano! Large portions and tasty dishes made for a nice lunch. Will plan to come again and try other tasty things!

Chuy's in Plano for Dinner

Decided on Chuy's in Plano for dinner the other night. Went with the Fajitas for two and a Margarita. All was tasty, and left full. Plus got to stop at the Chips Bar and add some Queso and Chips to the meal!

Sutadon... Japanese Market Food Court #ricebowls

Tried the Sutadon Rice Bowl in a sauteed pork with soft boiled egg at the Japanese Market Food Court in Plano just off of Hwy 75 at Legacy. Tasty meal with big portions... may try the Ramen next round!

Tino's Too

Put an order in to go at Tino's Too in Plano. Steak Picado and Chips and Salsa. All were tasty. While waiting for the order, took some pictures of the old article about the restaurant hanging on the wall along with the new menu items they are offering!

Yama Izakaya & Sushi #japaneserestaurant

Had a hankering for a bento box for dinner. Decided on Yama Izakaya & Sushi in Plano just off of Legacy. Always a great meal; added a Pepper Steak entree to the mix!

Norma's Cafe for Sunday Brunch

Norma's Cafe for Sunday Brunch this morning. Three of us went with the #2 Breakfast; still tasty, still filling!  One of us went with the Old #7... lots of stuff to describe; posted a picture below!

Luvie's Fil-Asian Restaurant in Plano

Was out and about in Plano; saw a restaurant that caught our eye tucked away in one of the strip malls along Legacy. Luvie's Fil-Asian Restaurant offering a Filipino food. Always on the lookout for new places; ordered three combos that included Pork Adobo, Menudo, Mung Beans, Pancit Bijon, and Barbecue Chicken. Throw in a side of Siopao and heaping servings of rice... we left full and satisfied!

PS: They have a secret hot sauce that is spicy; reminds us of Mcilhenny's Tobasco Sauce but different.

Norma's Cafe... #chickenfriedsteak

Tried a new place. Norma's Cafe in Plano. Took the place of the Black Eyed Pea restaurant. Gave it a go, ordering the Breakfast Plate of Bacon, Hash Browns, Eggs, and Pancakes and  the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast Plate. All was tasty with lots food to eat. Came away full and at a reasonable price! Will be back!

Umeko Sushi Bar and Grill

Lunch at Umeko in Plano just off of Legacy. There are newer restaurants in the strip mall next to it. But, we tend to Umeko for their taste, portions, and price!
