Lazy Dog in Dallas

Fun time at the Lazy Dog in Dallas. Had Sunday brunch of steak and eggs and Sangria! Partner went with a TexMex Salad and Charlie the Maltese Puppy went with rice, chicken, peas, and carrots. For an appetizer, had the Queso and Chips! All were tasty.

After work stopped by Aw Shucks in Dallas on Lower Greenville. Tasty food and a cold beer made things nice after a long work day. Went with Crab Cakes and Chicken Tenders and a Corona Familiar.

Need to comeback and try the Clam Chowder; looked really tasty!

Trinity Hall Irish Pub for Shepherd's Pie

Was out last night and had an urge for a quick bite. Was in the Dallas area taking the DART to miss the Highway 75 road closure in Plano. Stopped at Mockingbird Station and had a beer and a bite at the Trinity Hall Irish Pub.

Beers were strong and tasty and went well with our choice of food... Shepherd's Pie! Will keep this one in mind again if we are craving this dish.

Tony's Pizza and Pasta in Dallas

Stopped by Tony's Pizza and Pasta in Dallas for lunch the other day. Never been before. Was there meeting coworkers. Asked for a suggestion... they mentioned Stromboli. Went for it... Really big Stromboli!

Bucky Moonshine's Southern Eats and Bar #deepellum

Was out and about in Deep Ellum looking for a place to have a tasty lunch. After wandering the area and taking in the sights, opted for Bucky Moonshine's Southern Eats and Bar. Good thing... found the best tasting Gator appetizer. It's been hit or miss with this appetizer... too tough, no taste, funny taste, etc. But this time, tender and tasty with a dipping sauce that reminded us of a Honey Mustard Dijon but sweeter.

For the main entrees, went with the St Charles Pasta, Blackened Catfish Atchafalaya, and Fried Catfish Ponchatrain. All were tasty. Will be back just for the Gator appetizer alone but do plan to try other entrees as well!

Urban Taco in Dallas

Checked out Urban Taco in Dallas. Tried various tacos and salsas. All were tasty but for some reason, we prefer good old Tex-Mex!

Manny's Restaurant

Just down the road from the Rustic is Manny's Restaurant. Pleasant surprise finding this one. Tasty Tex-Mex... ordered Enchiladas, Brisket Tacos, and Guiso Mexicano. All were good; will need to come back and try the Carne Asada! PS: Salsa is spicy the way we like it!

The Rustic in Dallas

After a little driving around, finally found the restaurant. The Rustic offered food, drinks, sports on TV, and live music. Overall, liked the place. Only had Potato Chips Queso but it was good. Did have a variety of drinks and beers! Whatever the fufu drink with all the fruit and the popsicle in it is called, would say it is strong in liquor! Will have to come back to try it again.

Mi Camino Restaurante

Had dinner at Mi Camino Restaurante in Dallas just off Northwest Highway near Love Field Airport. Not been here before, so went with the normal order we place when trying a new Mexican Food Restaurant. Ordered the Carne Asada.

Tasty meal that comes with a Rice and Beans and a side of Avocado/Salad. Would order it again in the future. Price is comparable to Christina's and Gloria's,
