Hanaya Hibachi and Sushi in Flower Mound #japanesesteakhouse #sushi

New place we tried the other night - Hanaya Hibachi and Sushi in Flower Mound, TX. It's a Japanese steak house and sushi restaurant in the trendy Lakeside area. Really liking the food but had already eaten earlier. That said, was able to have some sushi and a beer.

Ordered a tuna sushi served on a bed of spinach and other things. Very tasty... liked it and the Sapporo Premium Black beer!

PS: Live music in the courtyard every Friday this Summer. Music sounded great that evening; may need to come back again sooner than later!

Le Peep Restaurant #brunch

Had a suggestion from a friend to try Le Peep in Flower Mound for Brunch. Did so and really liked it. We went with the Hen Pen in sausage, two eggs, toasted muffin, and potatoes and the Chicken Fried Steak.  Since "a picture is worth a thousand words", will make three comments, and then refer Readers to the pictures to get an idea of what we thought about Le Peep.

First, Chicken Fried Steak was big and it wasn't due to the breading

Second, Cream Gravy was made the old school way from oil drippings... tasty, tasty!
